As children open the sturdy wooden hinged doors, play with the removable magnets, and learn about animals--including a cow, horse, pig, sheep, cat, chickens, and rabbit--they will stay busy and have farm fun for hours! The Hide and Seek Farm can help children develop not only fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination but also cognitive and perception skills. Try removing all the pieces and helping the child replace the animals in the appropriate spots in the barn by providing clues ('This animal hops'), or ask the child to make each animals sound. To work on memory skills, place several pieces face up and ask the child to study them before closing his or her eyes. Remove one piece, then ask the child to open his or her eyes and identify the missing piece.
